i wonder why nobody tried to replicate DC anime in reality as a web series type thing..Imagine Rum v Conan in real life..that would be fire and dope..but acting needs to be like DC otherwise it would be cringe..

what you can get arrested for abandoning a body? xD

Conan Edogawa • 9 months ago

I think it was a mistranslation. I think the crime would be hiding a corpse. The reason why its a crime is because it can interfere with an investigation.

Muhammad Shahir • 9 months ago

Hiding a dead body without killing is also a crime because it delays the time of death and interferes with the police investigation. Forensics need to examine the inside of the stomach to see what else caused the death (maybe a lethal drug).

Between Detective Conan and Ace Attorney, I have to wonder if it's a cultural thing that I, as an American, cannot understand. There are cases where the "victim" is himself a criminal, who dies, due to self-defense or even by accident, but then the "culprit's" only crime is trying to hide the situation, like there is some inherent shame in it. As an American, I'd feel proud of being able to defend myself, so the next scumbag will reconsider trying to rob me.

Conan Edogawa • 9 months ago

Well it is illegal to transport and or hide a body for any reason even in the US. If you end up in a situation where you need to use self-defence call the police immediately and dont touch the body.

PettankoLovingCunnyseur • 9 months ago

I know, but it's the attitude of thinking that a crime took place that resulted in an actual crime taking place.

Conan Edogawa • 9 months ago

Ahh I understand what you are saying now. Yeah it's unfortunate that this lady felt like she had to commit a crime to avoid a wrongful conviction for an even worse crime.

Shadow Moon • 9 months ago

i mean, there are americans who pull this type of stunt due to panicking

Watchforever • 9 months ago

It’s a cultural thing
